I APPRECIATE THE WRITER AND THINK SIMILARLY AND HOPE THAT US ATTACK ON IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN ARE STILL A STEP FORWARD TOWARDS DESTRUCTION OF THE INNOCENT AMERICANS AND THEIR BELOED COUNTRY.

But, here I want to address yellow journalists like John simpson and Luce ducet of BBC and other such pseudo journalists of the westeren media who showed, posed and propagated, emphasized and tried falsy to show the world that women in Afghanistan were kept covered ( In Veil/Burqa) by the cruel and illetrate Talibans. They even manged to show the unveiling ceremony of Northeren Alliance women like creature in Kabul on next day of the occupation of Kabul by the US forces against the UN manifesto.

I wish any one of such third class journalist admits that he or she was wrong and his or her reports were biased and a part of crusade. Now they can find Burqa every where even under the rule of US armed forces in Afghanistan. They may now conclude that using Burqa is a custom of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India etc. However, if it is being used under pressure that UNOCALL employee Choudhary Karazai should be immediately removed and hanged.

although I detect a little bit of crypto-sympathy by the authoress for Talibans -- I would agree 100% with the SAT title of the column that -- Faulty Afghan Elections are Still a (BIG) Step Forward -- for a failed state like Afghanistan debased and destroyed by the Talibani Jahillans....
