We all know how the history had been cruel to the Jewish people all arround the world . Almost all nations , all religions had been cruel to Jewish people and were forcing the jewish people to leave the countries in which they were born and had been living since many generations .

The most recent is the Europe during second World War more than 6 millions jewish families were
Killed systematically under the Rule of Hitler . The Entire world was watching but not a single country was helping or instead of helping almost all countries closed their Boarders for Jewish people to enter .

You were not allowed to leave Europe . You were not allowed to enter even in USA just because you are a jew

Today in Europe and in USA , it is the Jewish busniessmen who are giving the jobs and shelter to
Muslim immigrants , entering legal or illegal since 1960s in ifferent european countries and in USA .

No body knows the suffering of humanbeings caused by other humanbeings better than Jewish people
Who had been the victims all the time , generation to generation through out their history .

Does this not justify to have their own Piece of Land , the land of their Origin , ORIGIN of Jewish People ,
To live Safe and in Piece , not having the continuous fear to be thrown out by others to leave the country just because of being Jews ?

Was this too difficult for General Musharraf to say . This is history , a Historical fact .

Saying this does mean Palestinian muslims do not have the right to live in peace and safe in their own Home-land .

It may take 100 years or may be 1000 years but under the process of Globalisation , just as we have
In JERUSALAM ,

A Holy place for JEWS , a Holy Place for christians and a Holy Place for Muslims ,

Exactly the same way , we will have a Holy place for all Three religions or may be more Holy places including other religions at Mecaa & Medina .

Saudi Arab must think to make herself ready to accept and allow other religions to build their holy places if they wish to do so anywhere in any city and at any place in Saudi Arabia . This is the greatness of Islam to accept and allow all other religions equal freedom and liberty to exist and to practice .

Islam is the most simple , flexible , noble , Social and tolerate religion which must be manifested by the Gaurdians of Islam countries like SAUDI ARABIA .

"Another significant message of the event was Musharraf's acknowledgment, albeit tacit, of the inextricable bond between Jews and Israel.

Unlike so many Muslim leaders, he did not try to drive a wedge between Judaism and Zionism. Rather, by speaking to the Jewish leadership as a monolithic body that stands uniformly and unconditionally behind Israel, he in effect sent his countrymen an unspoken, hard and long overdue message: Respect for Jews entails respect for Zionism." (JP)

good that Mr. Musharraf stayed away from controversial topics....if Judiasm is one and the same as Zionism...

may be Mr. Musharraf -- who is known more for grabbing elected government at gun point -- than for his discriminating taste in separating Zionism from Judaism -- or mixing them together doesn't know the difference

.....but to ask someone to love a Jew and love his Zionism as well -- is a little like asking to respect a pious face Qazi Ahmed (which I do) and respect his Jihadism (which I don't)....as well.....

I wish -- Muslim leadership could be like the Jewish leadership as a 'monolithic body' that stands uniformly and unconditionally behind the Islamic State of Saudi Arabia.....I really wish that...

Btw......JUST like the Jewish Left, the Muslim Left does not indulge in Terrorism like the right winger Zionist does......all over West Bank and Gaza...

except Islam or the Muslims -- Christians were the sworn enemy of the old days Jews wherever they lived not the Muslims -- the fraternity between Muslims and Jews is Millennium old -- Jews lived with the Muslims in all Muslims countries almost indistinguishable from Muslims....

....when the Spanish Christians kicked out every single Muslims from Spain -- they kicked every single Jew from Spain along with the Muslims -- and guess who gave shelter to most of the Jewish refugees from Spain -- the Sultan of Turkey.......that population still lives in Istanbul....

Muslims have taken a lot from Jews -- including their fundamentalism and Orthodixy -- INCLUDING their mixing of Religion with Politics......Judaism is the fountainhead of Islam.....for both good and bad.

What the author wants to tell us by saying "Respect for jews entails respect for Zionism"?
Can palestinians now safely and on moral high grounds claim that "respect for their cause entails respect for suicide bombing"?
Moreover it is highly misleading to tell us that main obstacle in mid-east peace is arabs denial of legitimacy
to Israel. And not the occupation. Really? Palestinains ceded 78% of historic Palestine to Israel and Oslo process
reached a dead end because Israel is not willing to cede ocupied east Jeruselem.
And return of refugees? By the way do all humanitarian concerns apply only to jews? A muslim country should respect "secular" ideals, but a jewish state has to remain jewish state.

It is all about power and influence which world jewry has
and arabs (relatively) lack right now. As long as jewry has this, they 'll employ it to their benifit. That is how this world works and has been working since time immorial. Outrageous part begins when you also assume the moral high ground and look down at the rest. It is so dehumanising and insulting. At least jews should know this, after their centuries of experience in europe.
