I don't think Rajnath's articles on SAT should be a bid deal for the Indian government as they are not very consequential.

On Asif Nadeem, while RAW could be behind it, it is also possible that Nadeem might be an ISI operative with a devious plan to discredit the Indian government. We need more proof from Rajnath one way or the other.

"It has been noted that a person filing as Mr. Arun Rajnath for the South Asia Tribune (Washington D.C.) has been using quotations and attributing them to the Foreign Secretary, Official Spokesman, MEA officials, etc. It is clarified that these quotations are absolutely fictitious. No quotations contained in Mr. Rajnath’s stories should be taken as accurate unless they are corroborated by official MEA statements or press briefings.

New Delhi
February 28, 2005"

This MEA statement is presented as 'proof' of harrassment of AR by the Indian Government !!

This is surreal - apprently you can't call a liar, a liar any more :) A chappie gets 'discredited' :). No wonder AR has to rely on 'anonymous sources' :)

How do we know that Indian goverment is telling the truth? ie, that the quotes were "fictitious". I think its obvious that they are trying to cover up embarassing leaks from officials who are pait kay halkay...

This guy is going crazy day by day. I guess its a pack of lies he creates to sensationalize stories, to get cheap publicity.
I come from the so called Naxalite infested areas of Telengana in Andhra and I haven't seen this '55% of parallel govt (forget about the 55% of the land mass)' anywhere, despite having given birth to stalwarts like Seetharamaiah at one time. Just an underestimation of the Juggernaut called the Inidan Army, which can eliminate these fellows in no time, but are restrained.
Pakis get the satisfaction by relying on such stories dreaming of a break up of Inida, when people from their conuntry are caught everywhere from Egypt to London in every bombing and terrorist incident.
Keep dreaming, do nothing and it is not us who'are going to break up. We all know who's broken up, although came into existance with an obsolete ideology, called the religion.

Wow what an article?

Write 10 offensive articles, and then an article on those 10 articles and then an article about harrasment.
Then comes the editor's coment on that last article.Good.
How do i know, if Arun is what he claims to be? Or the least he is the one show in photograph?

Do you think, RAW would be so dirt cheap to meet this wizkid (Arun) in an open public coffee shop?
On top of it, try bribe him,?
On top of it, Freeaking 10,000 RS?
Obviously this leads to conclusion, that Arun is not who he claims to be. He is a pakistani using Indian identity.
How did i come to this conclusion?
10,000 RS is peanuts in india now. No one will be bribed for RS 10,000. Atleast journalists will not be bribed for a mere rs 10 Grands.

I think, Satribune should stop behaving like Tehalka.
We have seen such articles in Satribune only and no where else.

Arun remove your mask.

it's rather amusing to see the ants in the pants of virtually all Indian posters at Rajnath's allegations --

now where would you find such patriots except in India whose governments born out of immaculate conceptions never harass any journalists........can happen ONLY in Pakistan but never in good ol India....

Is there anything ever wrong with India or the Indians ever ever?....never never..

...this is at least one area in which Indians are hundred times worst than the Pakistanis........

Mr. sri

you seem to have beaten rest of the Hindu clowns trying to twist the whole episode. Lets go one by one to the master piece of idiocractic therory of yours:

RAW would be so dirt cheap to meet this wizkid (Arun) in an open public coffee shop?
the initial plan was to meet at The Oberoi

On top of it, try bribe him,?
it's a starter, main course follows later

On top of it, Freeaking 10,000 RS?
how many Indians monthly average salary?

He is a pakistani using Indian identity.
No, he is an Indian using Pakistanee identity

How did i come to this conclusion?
after spending long time in rest room

10,000 RS is peanuts in india now. No one will be bribed for RS 10,000
you must be kidding, they sold plan of 1965 war to Pakastan for little over more then that

Atleast journalists will not be bribed for a mere rs 10 Grands.
thanks for setting the new standards, RAW can ask for more funds now

Satribune should stop behaving like Tehalka.
otherwise ready to face wrath of Hindu mafia

Where as in Pakistan General Musharraf has informally asked the US authorities to "contain" his critics living in US as Editor of the South Asia Tribune has been placed on the infamous Exit Control List in India the Government Authorities exercise their Authority by dealing with the local problems themselves rather than run to the US Government and cry "Uncle, Uncle please gag these people who are truthfully reporting the conditions in Pakistan"

he works for a Pakistani newspaper, and his write-ups are irresponsible and not in the line of national interest.”

“He could be dangerous to the national security if he gets accreditation as then he would be entitled to visit all ministries, government offices, sensitive places, Prime Minister’s Office, President House,
etc.”

so by that definition all Indian journalists -- Zakaria, Vishvanathan, Raghunathan working for foreign press are either unpatriotic or traitors -- or in the pay of the External Affairs Ministry....?

this is crazy ..... does Natwar Singh know about these civil servants shanagians....who the hell is minding the stores in the UPA government -- looks like not even the Prime minister -- the Prime minsiter contradicting his cabinet decision to go ahead with the Irianian Pipeline project before the Americans -- something we never heard from Dr. Singh while he was in India....

.....what's going on in the UPA government...does it's right know what even its right hand is doing...?
